Leitch and Bourgeois Residence, UMass Lowell

Lowell, MA

A redesign of the entrance to the Leitch and Bourgeois residence halls at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. The design seeks to update the entrances as the buildings are renovated, and provide a social space for students. Updated ramps, seating and plantings are part of the scope.

The new seating is custom designed, and meant to create a comfortable setting for residents to interact. The seating is designed for both the upper and lower terrace. As a focal point in the design, the seating is crafted to allow two directional and flexible use.
